Pay special attention to who you select for the podium as this is where the points really count, fortunes have been made and squandered trying to get into the Top 3, after all this is where the champagne is!”
Insure your picks are entered in the posting for the specific race prior to the Start of Qualifying for the race, otherwise your previous selections are assumed and these carry over for the race.
Simple as that
Pole Position = 5 Points
Fastest Lap = 5 Points
First out = 10 Points
Exact Podium Finish = 15 Points
Podium Finish = 10 Points
Position 4 thru 10 = Maximum 5 Points, with 1 point deducted for every position off to a minimum of zero points.
If your selected podium driver(s) do not finish on the podium, they are subtracted 5 Points. The driver’s total race score will be deducted and this can possibly be a negative figure deducted from your race total.
1 – More to win on the podium, more to lose as well.
If your podium selections do not finish on the podium, their race score will be subtracted 5 points each.
2 – Less points available finishing off the podium.
A driver received 5 points when selected in the exact position and points were deducted the number places the driver was off of your selection.
3 – Tie beaking procedures.
In the event of a tie for any final points paying position(s):
- 1st Tie breaker – Most points in any race throughout the season
- 2nd Tie breaker – 2nd/3rd/4th etc points in any race throughout the season
- 3rd Tie breaker, in the event the tie remains, in order the tie breaker is most poles, most fast lap then most retirements throughout the season. If it is still tied, the prize(s) are split or combined & split
